Been Around The World
This was the debut release from the Déjà Fate project.
The Aim was to combine Saif's traditional soul vocal with Drum n Bass so that he would be able to PA the track at club nights. It was this tune that brought Junction 9 to coin the term "urban soul".
The track took 3 days to produce after it was decided that live drums were a good call! Well done to Win and all the team at Black Wookie Studios

Indestructible
Using a guitar sample from one of Toby Blighs older tracks and lyrics from a pre production track "We got it" (Bligh, Mahdi, Tommy C), Jake built up this quirky mash up tune at Sticky Studios! The aim was to get something "radio ready" that would turn some heads.
The song was picked by BBC introducing essex for their weekly playlist.
After submitting the track through Fastrax the video was shown for 6 weeks on AKA "Free Request Playlist", Flava and Lava.

So Many Ways
The 3rd and final track produced by Jake Gosling at Sticky Studios. The bulk was written the night before by Toby Bligh and was originally about a stalker. Jake used some interesting interpretations of the original but nonetheless gave the song a great dynamic.

Wish That You Believed
This was a heartfelt song about moving on and trying to succeed when all the odds are stacked against you. Written by Toby Bligh whilst on a trip to Bali and recorded at the old home of Junction 9 Studios. It took 2 days of rehearsals to get the take and if you look at the video closely you can see all of the lyrics printed out in the reflection on his sunglasses.
